January 2022, after having experienced the life and work culture in the Silicon Valley, I found myself browsing through job offers in Europe. My US visa was about to expire, and the clock was ticking. There were a lot of unknowns for me at that time, but there were a few things on which I wasn’t prepared to settle less for.
I have always wanted to be a builder… Did I lose you there? … Let me explain, the metaphorical builder to me is a person who prefers to engage in new concepts and solutions rather than just maintaining the existing ones. I wanted to be a part of something new, something that I could add my little brick to, and watch it grow. Little did I know, that at the beginning of the year, when I spoke to Dave and he told me all about distriBind, I hit a jackpot!
The past 12 months at distriBind have been truly inspiring. We are currently working on several implementations, with clients from across the whole value chain. Whether you are a TPA, MGA, broker or an insurance company, our product can and will adapt to suit your business needs. It’s amazing to see how much traction and trust our product gets from industry leaders. It’s a true testimony of how relevant our solution to the market needs.
Working in a start-up is something else.. you either love it or hate it, but I think that whoever has embarked on a similar journey will agree that it is incredibly rewarding. Over the course of last year, we made meaningful improvements to our product and implemented several new features in order to meet our clients needs even better. And don’t get me wrong, there were moments when things weren’t so rosy, but we overcame obstacles that we had faced, juggled between different priorities with often limited funds and capacity. However, it’s the moments like these, when one gets to experience the power that lies within one’s team and it is what contributed to distriBind’s being a supportive and dynamic environment to work at.
I am pleased to say that in order to keep up with the interest that we are getting, we have doubled our brilliant team over the last six months and looking to make new hires! We are starting the year in a very strong position and are keen on helping the industry to become bordereaux-free!
